This training is designed for EDO members and directors to help them fully understand the site-selection process as well as the expectations and needs of prospective company executives.
Like any business or organization, a community must have a singular voice and message when promoting its features and benefits to corporate decision makers. Opportunities are lost when EDO officers tell only part of the story to site selectors, emphasize inconsequential data, and/or offer conflicting opinions.
Seminar emphases are on avoiding common mistakes and pitfalls, along with sharing what successful EDOs have recently done to attract new business—and how they did so. Role-playing and case studies are used to demonstrate the various aspects of EDO officer and director responsibilities.
